BAXTER PARK

Public BBQ

Strathdale Park offers extensive open space across multiple sporting fields for soccer, football, cricket, and netball. The park features an off-leash dog area popular with locals, though technically not fenced, plus two dams and bush walking tracks. Parking is plentiful. The playground sits in an exposed location with minimal shade and aging equipment that needs updating. Picnic tables are available but positioned far from the playground. Public toilets are located behind the first pavilion near the clubrooms, though they may be locked when no games are scheduled. The park lacks adequate lighting for evening sports during winter months. Some visitors report issues with people driving cars across the fields and using the dog area for cricket on Sundays. Note: Keep dogs away from ponies at the south end.
